Field Experiences

Through our business partners, Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries ECHS students will be provided extensive opportunities to interact with business and industry partners. Students have the opportunity to participate in on-site field experiences guided by mentors who are employed by the business partners. Mentors will share career insights, allow work experience as appropriate, verify & sign student timesheets to ensure punctuality and adherence to pre-determined schedules, complete a student evaluation checklist, and serve as professional role models for students by demonstrating patience, understanding, and honest encouragement. As a part of their field experiences, students will be expected to adhere to a schedule and will work with their mentors to assist with office operations, current project work, and data research.  During this time, students will build a broad awareness of the industry, professional organizations, job outlook and growth potential, skill sets required, training and major requirements of the field.
