Upcoming 9th & 10th Grade Visits- THIS WEEK

We are looking forward to seeing our 9th grade and 10th grade students at the HVCC TEC-SMART building this week for their mandatory monthly visits. The 9th grade visit is Thursday, September 12th and the 10th grade visit is Friday, September 13th.   Here is some important information regarding the visit:

• Student schools should be transporting students to the visit.  Students should check with their home school counselor on Monday if they have not done so yet to see how they are getting to the visit and returning from the visit.

• The visit is 7:50 AM-10:45 AM.

• Students should bring a snack with them, a refillable drink bottle (we gave them one at Summer Bridge), their fully charged chromebook, and lunch if missing lunch at their home school.

• Students should check that their Canvas credentials are in fact still working.

  • Students should log into their BSCSD Google Drive and then in the top of the page in the web browser go to http://bscsd.instructure.com. It should automatically open Canvas.

• The visits are mandatory as work will be completed in groups and turned in.  Not everything will be done on the computer.  

• Sophomores MUST bring a photo id in order to get their HVCC username and password if they still do not have it.
