Prospective Student Shadow Day - Held 2.12.24

Prospective Student Shadow Day - Held 2.12.24

The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School hosted a Prospective Student Shadow Day on Monday, February 12th at HVCC North Campus in Malta, New York.  Eighth grade students from school districts all over the region participated in a mini STEM challenge and participated in various tours around the campus led by current seniors in the program.  Students who participate in the P-TECH program take high school courses and college courses towards an Associate's Degree.  Students can have up to 36 college credits through HVCC by the end of their senior year at no cost to them or their families, with the opportunity to complete that degree as well at no cost.

If you were unable to attend the Information Night and would like to learn more about this great opportunity, please view our recording of the student panel and the presentation slides  found on our Applying for Clean Tech webpage.

Any student who was unable to attend a Shadow Day has another opportunity to attend on March 28th from 8 AM-9:30 AM.  Students should register using this link and also speak to their home school counselor about attending.  For additional information on the P-TECH program, please contact ECHS Program Coordinator, Adrienne Snow, asnow@bscsd.org.
