Mentors from GLOBALFOUNDRIES Work with Students on STEM Project
Ninth grade students in the P-TECH program of the Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School were assisted by mentors from GLOBALFOUNDRIES this week as they worked on their STEM project. Students in the program were tasked with developing a homemade STEM activity that would be suitable for students in grades 4 through 8. Students tested out the directions they created for their STEM activity to see if the project would work. Mentors circulated to each group to help them identify the activities STEM concept, the materials needed, what was working, and what changes needed to be made for the activity to work seamlessly. Students tested each experiment as they prepare for the November Student Project Exhibition.
