Information for Students Registered for Summer HVCC Classes

For students going into grades 10 through 12, who registered for HVCC Summer Classes, here is important information for you:

  • You need to submit a Certificate of Residency ASAP.  These are issued by the county in which you live in.  You need to tell them it is for HVCC for Summer classes that begin July 7th. You will use the same information in the letter sent home via email this past spring.  The COR needs to be scanned and emailed to asnow@bscsd.org.

  • Your textbooks or eBooks will be sent to your house or your HVCC email if it is an ebook.

  • Incoming 10th Graders:  HVCC is mailing your username and password to your home address.  Your username will come in 1 letter and in a separate mailing will be your password.  Do not lose this.

  • Classes are July 7th- August 14th- ALL students should log into HVCC Brightspace on July 7th to make sure their course(s) are there.

  • Students should look at the due date calendar and go through BrightSpace and plan their time to complete the course based on due dates.

  • VERY IMPORTANT:  If a student no longer wants to take the course after it has started on July 7th, they need to reach out to Mrs. Snow, asnow@bscsd.org, to get information on the withdrawal process.  If a student doesn't formally withdraw, they will receive a F on their HVCC transcript.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns to ECHS Program Coordinator, Adrienne Snow, asnow@bscsd.org
