HVCC Student Success Center Hosts Workshop for P-TECH Students

Lauren Gallo, from the Student Success Center at Hudson Valley Community College, hosted a Goal Setting workshop for students on Wednesday, September 10th at the HVCC North Campus.  Students were asked to come prepared with three goals they want to achieve.  Ms. Gallo explained to students the importance of goals and the people involved in helping them and supporting them along the way.  Students completed the S.M.A.R.T. Goal template and collaborated with their peers as they worked through it.  She introduced students to a "Vision Board" and explained the motivation and importance behind it.  This workshop was part of the ongoing collaboration between Hudson Valley Community College and the Ballston Spa Central School District's Early College High School.
