Entrepreneurs from the Food Truck Industry Mentor Sophomore P-TECH Students

The sophomores in the Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School returned to Hudson Valley Community College's North Campus in Malta for their monthly visit on Thursday, October 16th.  Students continued to finalize and work on their food trucks for the Fall Student Project Exhibition.  The owners from Wandering Food Dude brought their food truck and provided students with a tour and explanation of everything that goes into a food truck business.  The owner of Slidin' Dirty and Smith's Smokeshack and Kitchen food trucks met with groups of students to talk about their food truck ideas and give them feedback. Students will use the feedback for their final Food Truck presentations at the Expo.  The annual Fall Student Project Exhibition will be at HVCC North's TEC-SMART facility on Wednesday, November 5th from 9 AM-10 AM.  All are welcome to attend.  For those interested in learning more about the P-TECH program, contact ECHS Program Coordinator, Adrienne Snow, asnow@bscsd.org.
