ECHS Holds Shark Tank for Senior MEMS Pitches
The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School held a "Shark Tank" on Wednesday, January 15th. Seniors created a video pitch in which they identified a field/product to improve with the use of MEMS/Cantilever. They "pitched" how they would use MEMS/Cantilevers in the products they are improving, and possible innovations to the products that require investment or research and development. Students incorporated both the nanotechnology aspect, the research and development behind it, and a projected business plan. Students received feedback on their ideas from industry partners from Effecto, GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Rueckert Advertising, and professors from Hudson Valley Community College.
