Clean Tech ECHS Fall Student Project Exhibition 11/5

The Clean Technologies and Sustainable Industries Early College High School, a NYS P-TECH program, hosted their Fall Student Project Exhibition at the HVCC North Campus on Wednesday, November 5th.  Over 400 people including, business and industry partners, local and school officials, parents and caregivers were in attendance to discuss with students their innovative ideas.  Students in their ninth grade year presented their interactive STEM project, a variety of making slime, fake blood, testing the laws of gravity or water crystal polymers.  The tenth grade students set up food stands to reflect their Food Truck business plan.  Students wore a "uniform" they created, had a menu with prices, a design that fit their business, and items to reflect their idea.   The eleventh grade students displayed their World Food Prize and United Nations Sustainable Development Goal projects. Twelfth grade students showcased two ideas they generated for further development for their innovative Capstone projects, which can be seen at the June Graduation.  Students were able to express their ideas, the reasons behind their ideas, and interact with audience members.
